How installation works
1Pick the computer. Install on a workstation on the same network as your imaging system, one that stays powered on and online.
2Get the installer onto it. Download here if you're on that computer now, or save the installer and open it on that workstation.
3Run it and you're connected. The installer signs in automatically, with nothing to type.
MedwebX complements your current image sharing. It doesn't replace it.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a MedwebX account, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

MedwebX provides secure exchange of medical images and related information between verified healthcare participants. MedwebX works alongside your existing imaging systems and does not replace them.

3. Protected health information

Images and reports exchanged through MedwebX may contain protected health information. You agree to use the service in a manner consistent with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws, and only for treatment, payment, or permitted healthcare operations.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Sharing and permissions

You control who can send images to you and who receives images from you. When you invite an exchange partner, you confirm that you are authorized to exchange images with them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload content unrelated to patient care, attempt to access another participant's data without permission, or interfere with the operation of the network.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
